Warner Bros. has finally confirmed that Robin will be made available as a playable character in his own select challenge maps when Batman: Arkham City is pre-ordered at Best Buy in North America.

I also prefer Batman flying solo, but I actually like what Robin brings to his universe. Robin gives Bruce a son, someone to care about and look after. But it also raises an interesting question: Should Bruce be allowed to bring a child into his war just because he's lonely? Bruce permitted Dick Grayson to take up a vigilante identity as an outlet for the boy's anger at what happened to his parents. Just because the same thing happened to Bruce doesn't mean helping someone else achieve the same thing is right.
