Mortal Kombat DLC 'Season Pass' coming to 360
Warner Bros. and Nether Realms have announced a Mortal Kombat "Season Pass" exclusive to the Xbox 360, which will grant you all four DLC characters for $15, rather than the $20 if bought individually.
It seems that L.A. Noire's Rockstar Pass bundle was the start of a new trend. Today, Warner Bros Interactive and NetherRealm Studios announced the Mortal Kombat Season Pass, which will bundle Skarlet, Kenshi, Rain, and the fourth unannounced character for a discounted price.
The season pass will come on June 21 alongside the Skarlet DLC, for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15). It will entitle you to each of the four warriors as they become available, and trim off $5 from the cost of buying them each individually.
Two free 'klassic' skins are set to come in a compatibility pack alongside each character, starting with Cyrax and Sektor. These will be included in the Season Pass too, of course, but you can grab them for free even if you don't buy any of the DLC at all.
The bad news? The announcement specifies that the Season Pass is "only available for purchase on Microsoft's Xbox Live." PlayStation 3 kombatants can get each of the characters and skins, but apparently won't be able to get the $5 discount.
