Link's next proper console outing, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, is due this holiday season, Nintendo has revealed at its E3 press conference.
Link's next full home console outing will come this holiday season, when The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will launch on Wii, Nintendo has revealed.
Nintendo also revealed that there'll be a special gold Wiimote released alongside Skyward Sword, so you can celebrate the series' 25th anniversary and feel like a real hero as you swing your controller to control Link.
Skyward sword was announced at E3 last year, where we got to play it. We'll doubtless give it another go this year, but that'll tide you over for now.

I always thought the gold cartridges of the original NES games were pretty cool. Don't think I'll be getting the gold Wiimote though.

No I don't think many people will wake up and think "You know what? I really need a silly golden wii Zelda styled controller". Anyway can't wait hopefully this won't be another Twilight Princess.
