Yes it will be the fifth QuakeCon in a row to talk about RAGE but still not have a way to buy it.
QuakeCon 2007 - RAGE announced
QuakeCon 2008 - RAGE talked about
QuakeCon 2009 - RAGE talked about some more
QuakeCon 2010 - RAGE release date announced
QuakeCon 2011 - RAGE still not out for another month
I know I'm going to get shot for saying this but I'm wondering if QuakeCon needs to happen every year anymore. Back when id put out a game every 2-3 years, sure, but now the world is in multi-year dev cycles. Sure, they promote games like Wolfenstein and ETQW but even people at QuakeCon tend to not care about them.
Also if last year is any indication you can forget about playing SC2 in the BYOC - the need for an Internet connection, coupled with the shitty connection you can get at QC means no LAN play either. Sucks.
