Rumor: Xbox 360 May updates bring PayPal, Avatar Kinect
A duo of May updates for Xbox 360 will bring PayPal functionality and Avatar Kinect support.
According to an email a Microsoft tech support employee sent to Joystiq, the Microsoft Spring 2011 Dashboard update will launch on May 19, adding PayPal support to the console's growing list of online features. PayPal support for Xbox Live was added (in the U.S.) a while back, but the Spring update will add it as a Dashboard feature.
While PayPal support is the only user-facing feature of the May 19 update, support is also being incorporated for Microsoft's new disc format, which greatly streamlines on-disc protection measures to free up about an extra gigabyte of usable space.
The email also revealed that Avatar Kinect support is coming via a separate download scheduled for May 27.

This will just make micro transactions and subscription based gaming easier to push on XBL. It's only a matter of time now.

Its apparent by that comment that you haven't played online multiplayer on the 360. Next time you're playing online with your PS3, in June, try having a chat with 7 other people while they are all playing different games. That's just one feature. Last time I played Black Ops on my PS3 I couldn't mute someone forever let alone have a party chat with just two people. So don't bitch about things you don't own. Just accept that both systems have their pros and cons.
