Between clips of Duke urinating and shooting flying pigs, Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford says he feels both "gratified and humbled" to be a part of the experience of bringing Duke Nukem Forever to gamers.
After a long wait--and a recent, shorter wait--Duke Nukem Forever is just around the corner. You can hear the excitement in Pitchford's voice in the PR-released "interview" video 2K Games sent over earlier today.
Either Duke Nukem will be exactly what gamers have expected, or Pitchford is gleefully and diabolically hatching his invasion of Hell when the underworld finally freezes on June 14 (June 10, internationally) due to the game's actual release.

Guy from work played Duke, Gears 3 and Crysis 2 at the Gadget show live. He was generally positive despite encountering bugs (sometimes weapons would disappear when switched, couldn't find ammo for rpg, game wouldn't end etc). Visuals were 'acceptable' and the Duke character was amusing (hadn't played the original). Would wait for a review before buying.

this game makes me feel old:(See when it was announced I was actually young. With the release pending it feels like half my life passed by while this was being developed.
Happy to see it come out but sobering to think about how old I should been when it should have been released on 4 different engines previous.... -
