Rumor: Resident Evil 4, Code Veronica revamped for PS3, 360
The wonderful Resident Evil 4 might be revamped for PS3 and 360, swirling rumours are saying, as well as Resident Evil: Code Veronica.
Revamped 'HD' editions of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica are headed to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, according to rumours picked up by Andriasang. The news is said to come from a new issue of Japanese video games magazine Famitsu.
The two will be released in "remastered HD" form together in a bundle named Resident Evil: Revival Selection, in Japan at least, the rumours say. RE4 will include the bonus Ada Wong campaign that was part of a number of editions. Aside from that, there are very few details.
Code Veronica was released for Dreamcast and PlayStation 2 in 2000, later being revamped as Resident Evil: Code Veronica X for DC, PS2 and GameCube. 2005's Resident Evil 4 lead the survival horror series in an action-heavy direction, striking a delightful balance between fleeing from fiends and exploding heads. Originally hitting GameCube in 2005, it later came to PS2, PC and Wii.
There's no official confirmation of the rumours yet, so for now please do try not to get too excited about the idea of playing a prettied-up Resident Evil 4, no matter how wonderful it may be.

I remember it as the first fully 3d RE game which still looked about as good as the old pre-rendered backgrounds. I remember following the game months before it came out and be so excited when it was released. And the ability to actually look around a bit in a RE game (because the 3d backgrounds) was so cool. This was probably in my top five Dreamcast games.
