PlayStation Store update brings Mortal Kombat, Crysis 2 demos to all, Parasite Eve
Parasite Eve and Hard Corps: Uprising arrived in this week's PS Store update, along with demos for Mortal Kombat and Crysis 2.
As ever, Sony's weekly update to the PlayStation Store's digital catalogue arrived yesterday with a metric shedload of new releases, demos, downloadable content, and other gubbins.
This week's new PlayStation 3 releases are the new Contra game Hard Corps: Uprising, which hit Xbox 360 last month, and Slam Bolt Scrappers, which somewhat resembles action-Tetris. PSone survival horror RPG Parasite Eve also arrives as a PSone Classic title for $6. The PSP gets Dissidia 012[duodecim] Final Fantasy's $3 prologue episode.
On the demo front, Crysis 2, PlayStation Move Heroes, Plants vs. Zombies, Slam Bolt Scrappers and Mortal Kombat are available to all and sundry.
DLC-wise, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 gets new characters Shuma Gorath and Jill Valentine for $5 each, or free to Limited Edition owners. Newly-released RPG Ar Tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel gets a handful of new scenarios. There's also more Rock Band 3 and DJ Hero 2 tracks.
PlayStation Plus subscribers pick up a Full Game Trial for 2008's Prince of Persia, which got a downloadable release this week, as well as an assortment of unexciting themes and discounts.
