Ocarina of Time 3DS includes Master Quest

The Ocarina of Time's rearranged, and more difficult, Master Quest version will be included with the revamped Nintendo 3DS edition.

The revamped The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D for Nintendo 3DS will also include the game's Master Quest version, Conservative New Media reports (via GoNintendo).

"This also comes with not only The Legend of Zelda but also comes with the Master Quest, so it's like two games in one," explained David Young, Nintendo of America associate PR Manager.

Master Quest rearranges and revamps Ocarina of Time to be more difficult. It was originally conceived as an expansion for Ocarina of Time through the N64's 64DD but, of course, that peripheral flopped. Master Quest ended up being released on GameCube together with The Ocarina of Time on a pre-order bonus disc for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

Nintendo hopes to release The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D in June, company president Satoru Iwata revealed during GDC last week.

Majora is one of the harder games in the series, but also one of the best.

It has probably one of the best endings IMO.

I loved that game. I think it was one of the only games where I tried to complete everything and got all of the masks

Oh, that was a nice article! Thank you for linking that.

I'm stoked for OoT, but Majora's Mask will always stay in my mind for a lot of the reasons in that article. I remember not liking it as much because of the eerie differences from OoT, even though it was obviously a Zelda game. And, it had a horrible water dungeon. Again.

Seriously, did the Zelda team get into a fight with water around then?

They took it as an opportunity to make it "open", which can do all sorts of horrible things in an otherwise relatively "closed" game.

The Master Quest that came with Wind Waker was pretty disappointing, it only changed/moved around a few of the enemies and keys if I remember correctly.

Bullshit, every dungeon was changed significantly. e.g. to get around Jabu Jabu's belly you had to slingshot the cows that were hanging out of the walls and stuff like that. I never got past Ganon's castle in that one.
