It's Always Sunny: The Gang Goes Mobile Brings Madcap Comedy to iOS and Android
You know you can already hear the music in your head.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia fans, rejoice! The gang is setting down on iOS and Android devices this year with an all-new mobile game. It's Always Sunny: The Gang Goes Mobile is a mobile title based on the popular comedy series, and it'll feature all your faves: Mac, Dennis, Charlie, Dee, and Frank (and possibly other surprise appearances) as they all get dragged into working on Frank's latest scheme.
Right now, unfortunately we don't have a lot to go by as far as what kind of game this is or what we can expect out of it. What we do know is that you'll join the gang with their "favorite" gags, storylines, and a variety of other moments from the series to tap through and unlock favorite characters and other scenarios. First and foremost, you'll be helping Frank launder the filthy money he's got to keep secret from the feds. Mac, Dennis, and Dee argue over the best methods to get the cash squeaky clean, and Charlie is tasked with putting the laundered money in a safe place. Yeah, right. Like you can trust Charlie.
The game will release later this year on an as-yet undisclosed date, presumably alongside the 13th season, which begins airing on September 5, 2018 on FXX. If you're interested in signing up to try it ahead of others, you can do so on the official website. Hopefully a trailer or something with additional information drops soon.
