Nintendo Confirms Returning Smash Characters Will Get New amiibo Figures
We all need a little more Snake in our lives.
Did you have a favorite Super Smash Bros. fighter that didn't end up getting their own amiibo figure during the first run? There's good news ahead, because it looks like a new set of amiibo based on the veteran fighters returning to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate have indeed been confirmed. Ridley, Inkling, and Daisy had previously been confirmed to receive figures in celebration of the new game, but they won't be the only ones.
Yes, that means none other than Solid Snake will be immortalized on his own amiibo figure stand, hopefully with the big butt we know and love him for, and not the nerfed butt that they appear to have given him in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
We'll also see characters like Ice Climbers and Pichu, which have both specifically been named as upcoming amiibo releases. We'll also get Wolf, Young Link, and tons of other characters like the Pokemon Trainer as well, meaning you're going to officially have to clean off your shelves for more amiibo goodness. If you went through and opened all your packages because you thought the amiibo craze was over (like yours truly), it might be time to go ahead and start opening up your wallet when the new set arrives. It's going to be awesome.
Seriously, Snake amiibo. He truly has kept us waiting, huh?

You can train an AI player that learns based on playing with you: https://www.smashbros.com/wiiu-3ds/us/howto/entry8.html
It "lives" inside the Amiibo, it gains levels, and its playing style depands on who its been playing against. It is completely optional content.
