This Weekend's Fortnite Event Will Happen in Real-time Only Once This Saturday
Make sure you don't miss out on this event.
There's a big event going down in Fortnite this weekend, and if you're planning on doing something for the upcoming holiday over Saturday and Sunday, you may want to stick around at home, even if it's for just a little while on Saturday. As Fortnite gears up for a big season, Epic Games has been teasing a special happening that's about to take place on Saturday. If you blink, you'll miss it, as it's apparently only going to happen once.
The rocket in the evil lair near Snobby Shores looks like it's about to blast off, and thus an in-game message has been posted to let players know when it's going to be doing the thing. Epic has stated that it will happen on June 30 (that's tomorrow) at 1:30 PM ET. The developer has already stressed that you should "get in-match on Saturday' by those specific times and "look to the sky. It only happens once!"
Guys.

Be at the rocket at 1:30pm Eastern time on Saturday.
Something big is gonna happen. And its only gonna happen once.
Thats all Im gonna say.
RT and get the word out.
It looks like the word is spreading throughout the Fortnite community, because who wouldn't want to see a rocket launching for the first time in a game? Epic Games knows a lot about spectacle, as it demonstrated before the entire meteor debacle happened, and so now it's time for said spectacle skills to carry over to whatever's going to happen with this rocket launch. Either way, be there or be square. You won't want to miss out, because the next time you see it will have to be during a YouTube replay.
