E3 2018: Destiny 2: Forsaken DLC - Gambit Mode Gameplay

The team tried out the upcoming Forsaken expansion's new PvE and PvP mode.

Shacknews was on the scene at E3 2018 to jump into Destiny 2's Forsaken DLC -- namely, Gambit Mode, which is a new upcoming PvE and PvP mode in the game that pits folks in two teams of four players against each other. We got some fantastic footage of the game that you can see below, which finds each team starting in a separate arena s they fight off waves of enemies, sort of like a Horde mode.

While you fight, each enemy can drop things called Motes of Light, which you can cash in to do some cool things, ending up in beating a "Primeval" boss that's summoned for the end of the round. Whoever manages to take one out wins the match.

Destiny 2's Gambit Mode launches with Destiny 2: Forsaken, Destiny 2's newest expansion, on September 4 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
