E3 2018: Ridley Joins Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for December Release Date
The latest Super Smash Bros. has a release date, as well as a fan-favorite character.
Super Smash Bros. had one last announcement before ending its portion of Tuesday's Nintendo Direct. That announcement is a new character, who will be joining every character in the series ever.
By popular demand, Metroid villain Ridley will be joining the playable roster. He's been slightly scaled down, size-wise, in order to fit the playing field. But he looks to have all of his attacks from Super Metroid and the Metroid Prime series.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate also got a release date. It's set to hit Nintendo Switch on December 7.
RIdley is also playable from the E3 2018 show floor, so look for impressions from Shacknews soon.
