E3 2018: Team Ninja's Nioh 2 Revealed During PlayStation E3 2018 Conference
Hack and slash to your heart's content.
Nioh 2, the long-awaited sequel to Team Ninja's excellent action title Nioh, has finally been confirmed during today's PlayStation E3 2018 press conference. There wasn't a lot of fanfare surrounding the title beyond a brief teaser trailer, but that's enough to whet our appetites for all things Nioh and Team Ninja, since everything they seem to make turns to gold as of late.
The trailer itself is quite short, and shows off the protagonist doing battle with a demon to, perhaps turn into a demon of some sort? What the heck is going on here? We're not quite sure, but there is a tagline to remember: Defy death. Death defies you.
Folks typically praise Nioh as one of FromSoftware's most addictive titles these days, and for good reason -- it features tight combat with difficult enemies that rewards grinding and exploration. Hopefully, this new sequel will follow in the same footsteps.
Unfortunately, all we know right now is that Nioh 2 exists, and it'll at least be on PlayStation 4. Details on everything else, however, will simply have to come at a later date.
