E3 2018: The Last of Us Part 2 Gameplay Revealed by Naughty Dog
Ellie continues to kick ass in The Last of Us Part 2; Joel no where to be seen.
Naughty Dog has shown off more heart-racing footage of The Last of Us Part 2 at this year’s Sony E3 Press Conference. What started off rather nicely at a dance quickly descended into bloody murder with Ellie escaping from bandits.
A few highlights from the trailer included a heavier focus on stealth, gruelling combat, as well as the ability to crawl under vehicles (a rarity in video games). It also appears as if Ellie's bow skills have improved since the last game, along with the ability to collect arrows off of fallen enemies.

IN THE FACE!!!! The animation in this is crazy good, all the contextual movement during the fighting is excellent. If only more games tried to get to this level of animation.... cough cough BETHESDA..... cough cough....

If anything I get the impression he's very much alive. The dude at the beginning talking to Elle says "Your dad was busting my chops" or something like that which I assume her dad being Joel.
