E3 2018: New Game + Coming to God of War
Sony has revealed that a New Game + mode is coming to God of War.
Sony's E3 2018 briefing has kicked off, and following up on an extended look at The Last of Us 2, the presenters took a brief intermission where they revealed that God of War would soon be updated to include a New Game + mode.

Speaking over on the PlayStation.Blog, Sony Santa Monica community strategist Aaron Kaufman provided some more details on the new game mode. Stating that it was added "for the fans," the New Game + mode will allow players to begin an all-new journey through God of War while keeping several of the upgrades they earned through their previous runs. Players will be able to hold on to many of their items as well, including "armors, pommels, talismans, and more."
Naturally, this spike in talent right out of the gate means that the New Game + mode will come with a much higher level of challenge.
There's no information on just when players can expect the New Game + mode to arrive in God of War, but the team has promised that it will be arriving via patch at a later date and time. For more big news and reveals from E3 2018, keep it tuned right here to Shacknews.
