E3 2018: Wolfenstein: Youngblood Releases in 2019

Kill more Nazis, just like papa taught us.

Bethesda has officially revealed Wolfenstein: Youngblood, a sequel to the critically acclaimed Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. Slated for a 2019 release, Wolfenstein: Youngblood introduces players to the twin daughters of B.J. Blazkowicz surviving in a war-torn Paris set some time after the events of the previous game.

The biggest piece of information from the reveal was that Wolfenstein: Youngblood would be a co-op experience, with each player taking on the role of one twin. This is a first for the new Wolfenstein series, and should be a welcomed feature for those who want to experience this Nazi-occupied world with a friend.

So now, "Wanna get outta here and go kill some Nazis with me?" won't just be an empty pickup line?

      I'm down.

Is it a full game or a dlc sized experience like The Old Blood?

Not really clear... given the naming scheme it might be another spinoff?

I'm thinking something in between? They had their DLC stuff for New Colossus, so this was budgeted out separately, but Machinegames still wants to complete their trilogy, and I think this is a stopgap between now and whenever they get around to letting me kill Mechahitler.

      Hell yeah!
Is the dlc for. Wolf 2 worth playing? I kind of forgot about it. Haven't bought it yet.

It's okay. More of the same kinda stuff as the main story, but each one is focused on either fast combat, exploration, or stealth. Very little of the whackadoo story and visuals that glued together the main story, and none of the pathos.

Play it if you already have it, otherwise skip the DLC and replay Wolf 1, it's DLC, or the main story of Wolf 2.

Will 2019 be the year of coop? I sure hope so.
