You probably don't have enough Nintendo 2DS XLs by now, so just in case you haven't bought one of every awesome design, here's another one to consider. The latest addition to the collection is the new Hylian Shield 2DS XL, a GameStop exclusive that launches on July 2. It's pretty sweet, so don't be surprised if you're suddenly moved to drop some cash on it.

The system has been designed to resemble Link's famous Hylian Shield, with an ornate design on the top of the system and a silver underside, which looks pretty svelte for a foldable system. it's not very clear if the embossing is raised on the system or if it's matte, but it looks like it'll be raised to lend a somewhat more luxurious feel to the handheld.

The console will come preloaded with The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, the sequel to the classic SNES title The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past, so you can get your Zelda collection started up quickly and easily if this is your first brush with the series. The system itself is going for $159.99, so if you're wanting to throw this on the pile with your Pokémon handhelds and other LEs, make sure you set aside some cash to pick it up when it lands this July. The only downside? You've got to head to a GameStop to grab one.
