Combined Arms Battlefield 5 Multiplayer Co-op Mode Announced
Battlefield 5 players will be able to drop into Combined Arms for some tense, stealth-based co-op gameplay.
EA Dice had a pretty succint showing at the recent Battlefield 5 live stream reveal. The crew took no time in revealing that Battlefield 5 is returning to World War 2, and special presenter Trever Noah was on standby to help fill the gaps between details concerning new features, mechanics, modes, and more. In particular, the stream gave series fans a taste of what to expect from the new FPS experience, and among them are a number of different multiplayer modes.
As detailed during the recent Battlefield 5 live stream event, one of the new cooperative modes is called Combined Arms. This multiplayer mode follows a behind-enemy-lines-type narrative where players will have to make careful use of team-based stealth, as getting detected could mean death for the entire crew. The stakes are high, and players will need to group together to assess their needs and find resources on their way to completing different objectives.
We're still waiting to learn more about the rest of what Battlefield V will have to offer. Until then, be sure to check out the game's latest trailer, featured above, and be sure to keep it tuned right here to Shacknews to hear all the latest developments from the crew at EA DICE.
