New Avengers: Infinity War DLC Comes to Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2

The Avengers are crashing the party with this latest round of DLC.

It's almost time for the latest entry in the Avengers film series, Avengers: Infinity War. That means celebrating its launch across several mediums in the form of tie-in promotions. What better way to hype yourself up for the new movie than by playing Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 with a special DLC pack inspired by the summer blockbuster?

Today, Marvel and TT Games revealed Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2: the Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War Character and Level Pack. For just $2, you get a sizeable chunk of additional content to wade through. If you already own the Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 Season Pass, you'll get this digital goodie bag for free as well, as part of the six Level Packs and Character Packs it comes with already.

This new DLC set gives players a shot at trying on Thanos for size. You know him as a nefarious super villain, and this new game add-on will feature a special level including Thanos as an unlockable character. You can also unlock Corvus Glaive, Cull Obsidian, Proxima Midnight, Ebony Maw, Hulkbuster 2.0, and Groot (Avengers: Infinity War), which brings the game's roster up to a whopping 200 heroes and villains.

If you're still kicking it with the huge cast of Marvel characters (and playing with your family, probably) you can look forward to picking this bit of DLC up for a couple bucks. It definitely sounds like it's worth it.
