Slayin' to the symphony of destruction.

What do you listen to when you've got a room full of demons just itching to be blown away by a shotgun? The DOOM Original Game Soundtrack, of course. But not just any version of it. You need the upcoming CD or vinyl sets just announced by Laced Records in partnership with Bethesda Softworks and id Software.

This is truly the only music that's acceptable to listen to as you're ripping things limb from limb and making it rain blood. Luckily, you don't have much longer to wait before you can get your hands on it as it lands this summer.

The DOOM Original Game Soundtrack, cut at Abbey Road Studios, will come in four different formats: a Deluxe Double CD, Double Vinyl, Special Edition Four-Disc Vinyl, and Special Limited Edition Vinyl Box Set.

The Deluxe Double CD comes with a triple gatefold sleeve, and the Double LP is pressed on 180g blood red vinyl with premium packaging, including 20 favorite tracks selected by DOOM's developers.

The Special Edition X4LP features four vinyls in double hard slip cases and printed inner sleeves, and is pressed on black vinyl, but it includes the entire soundtrack.

The Special Limited Edition Vinyl Box Set is the one you really want if you're a serious fan and collector. It's pressed on red 180g wax and includes the Deluxe Double CD and a special limited-edition turntable slipmat as well. You can only get it for a limited time, beginning now and running through May 2, 2018 via Laced Records.

The soundtrack spans 31 hard-hitting synth and metal-laden tracks, which runs just over two hours of runtime. Composed by longtime Bethesda collaborator Mick Gordon, it's a bone-crunching good time that'll no doubt get you in the mood for all things demon slaying.

You can preorder the edition you'd like to purchase now, but none of them will be shipping until later this year in Q3 2018. Save up those pennies, because these will go fast and you'll want to lock a preorder in as soon as possible.
