Divinity: Original Sin 2 Heading to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One
Larian Studios' hit RPG Divinity: Original Sin 2 is broken free of its PC bonds and will land soon on PS4 and Xbox One.
One of the biggest and most popular role-playing games of the modern era is Larian Studios' Divinity: Original Sin 2. It's a game that managed to improve upon the formula established by its predecessor, culminating in a product that some believe to be one of the finest RPGs of all time. However, the game has so-far only been available for Windows PCs; fortunately, this is soon to change, as Larian Studios has revealed that Divinity: Original Sin 2 will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year.
Speaking over on the PlayStation.Blog, Larian Studios director of publishing Michael Douse stated that the console release of the game came in response to considerable fan interest in seeing the title available for something other than PC. According to the post, the new version of the title will include "a massive number of much-wanted tweaks and additions," the likes of which the studio promises to detail in the future.
The console versions of Divinity: Original Sin 2 will be custom-tailored by the crew at Larian Studios, and publishing will be handled by Bandai Namco. It doesn't look like the updated title will be heading to Nintendo Switch, though it doesn't seem like the developers are strictly ruling out the possibility. We also don't have any firm word on when the new edition of the game is expected to release, though Larian Studios has said that players can expect to see Divinity: Original Sin 2 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sometime this coming August.

I think they put in all of the effort to work out how to solve the controller issues with the first game's enhanced edition. So this one was controller compatible right out of the box (Note, I have only ever used KB & Mouse for this game so not actually endorsing it, just remember their dev blog talking about it)
