Spiderman Gets PS4 Release Date, Has Our Spider Sense Tingling

You only have five months to prepare yourself for Peter Parker’s biggest video game adventure yet.

It’s been a long time coming, but Sony’s big budget Spiderman game finally has an official release date. The Insomniac-developed action-adventure game was first announced back at E3 2016. A year later, the game became the centerpiece and show closer of Sony E3 2017 presentation. As hype levels have reached critical mass, Sony finally clarified when we can get our hands on one of PS4’s biggest games of 2018. Expect your spider senses to start tingling September 7, when the game will hit retail and digital shelves.

After the amazing E3 2017 demo was shown, Shacknews broke it down to find out exactly how the game will work and what to expect once you start swinging through the NYC streets. Spiderman fever has been running wild at our office for a while now, leading us to take a look back at earlier Spiderman games.
