Rami Ismail is one half of the video game developer Vlambeer, known for their game Ridiculous Fishing. What many folks may not know about Rami is that he has been fighting for the rights of his fellow developers, especially devs who are located in the Middle East. Shacknews caught up with Rami after he received the Ambassador Award at the Game Developers Choice Awards to talk with him about his favorite fish, the Muslim travel ban, and his efforts to organize the  "One Reason to be" panel at GDC 2018. Five out of the six developers who were to participate in the panel had their travel visas rejected. Check out this video interview to hear more from Rami Ismail.
