Live Action Far Cry 5 Prequel Now Available For Amazon Prime Users
We've got the teaser trailer here for your viewing pleasure.
Hot on the heels of the incredibly dramatic live-action teaser for Far Cry 5, a new marketing tool has entered the fray. Ubisoft has produced a short film, called Inside Eden’s Gate, exclusively available on Amazon Prime that serves as the prequel to the upcoming game and it's available now for Prime members.
A crew heads to Hope County and vlog the experience, inspired by someone named Mark sending them a letter describing how Eden’s Gate has taken over his town. Here’s the official synopsis from the Amazon Prime page:
Rumors of a fanatical cult called The Project at Eden's Gate lure three vloggers to remote Hope County, Montana. Following leads of missing locals and other strange events, the three infiltrate the cult. Shocked by what they uncover, they risk everything to warn the world. Featuring Greg Bryk (A History of Violence) and Kyle Gallner (American Sniper), and inspired by the Ubisoft game Far Cry 5.
As expected via what we’ve seen from the upcoming game and in the trailer, the experience takes a drastic turn. In order to watch Inside Eden’s Gate, you must have an Amazon Prime account. If you don’t, there’s a 30-day free trial for new sign-ups. After you check it, read our hands-on preview. Far Cry 5 launches March 27 for PS4, Xbox One, PC.
