Dragon Ball FighterZ Roster Adds Saiyan Royalty and Ruin With Bardock and Broly

Two legendary Saiyans are joining the fighting game's roster via the first wave of DLC.

During the pre-release days for Dragon Ball FighterZ, fans looking forward to the game clamored for whatever information they could find on which characters would be entering the fight. It was inevitable that reveals would continue after launch and the first two characters to join post-launch have been revealed. You'll be able to rotate some legendary Saiyans into your main squad as Bandai Namco has revealed Bardock and Broly to be the first DLC characters for DBFZ.

Broly has a "Gigantic Meteor" attack that takes up three Ki Gauge and it's teased in the image above, as is Bardock's Super Saiyan transformation in an attack called "Revenger Assault". In addition to the two new characters, owners of both Dragon Ball FighterZ and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 are getting some special content. Xenoverse 2 users will get Android 21 costumes and accessories if they own DBFZ and DBFZ users will get a Supreme Kai of Time lobby character and stamp if they own Xenoverse 2.

Broly was one of the characters we said were missing from Dragonball FighterZ's roster, so we'll have to wait and see if the rest get added in the future. The price and release date for the DLC that includes Broly and Bardock are both unknown at this time, but we'll update you all when more information is made available. Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
