Monster Hunter World Is The Fastest-Selling Capcom Game Ever

Monster Hunter World hit five million shipped fairly quickly after launching on PS4 and Xbox One (PC version coming later in the year) and has continued to do well. So well, in fact, that it has become the not only the fast selling Monster Hunter entry ever, but the fastest-selling Capcom game in history.
Gamasutra reports the game has eclipsed six million units including physical and digital already after launching on January 28, 2018. With the game's major focus on connected multiplayer, it should continue to break records when it arrives on PC later this year as well.
