Twitch Servers Down on Dr. Disrespect's Return

The Two-Time two-timer’s emergence from hiding proves to be too much for the Twitch servers to handle.

Last December, popular Twitch streamer Dr. Disrespect was riding high and being showered with accolades as the most popular streamer of 2017. At the height of his popularity, the doctor announced that he had been unfaithful to his wife and family, and would be taking a break from streaming. Almost two months later, the official Dr. Disrespect Twitter account posted a cryptic video that announced the Dr.’s return for February 5.

The return for one of the world’s most popular streamers has proven to be too much for the Twitch servers to handle. At 2PM eastern time, the site began to experience problems as the Dr. Disrespect stream was going live. Within five minutes, Twitch Support acknowledged the problems. Upon trying to navigate the website, users are being greeted with page errors like the one seen below.
