Platinum Games Designer Responds 'Ask Ninty'; To Fans Demands For Bayonetta on PS4
It's going to take more than just sadistic witch hair magic to make a miracle like this happen.
When it was announced that Bayonetta 2 would be exclusive to the Wii U, my heart sank a bit. I was a big, big fan of the first Bayonetta's action and tongue-in-cheek humor, but I had no plans to get a Wii U ever. Fortunately for me and other fans, the sequel is now getting a Nintendo Switch version along with a brand new sequel in the form of Bayonetta 3. But what about fellow Bayonetta fans who don't own a Switch?
Sadly, it would seem there's no chance of seeing a port for PS4 or any other console for that matter since Nintendo is backing the game's development. It also appears that Platinum Games' Game Designer, Hideki Kamiya is sick of fans asking him about such a possibility as he recently took to Twitter to vent his frustrations:
IF NINTY SAY YES, IT'S YES. SO ASK NINTY. ALSO ASK ABOUT MARIO AND ZELDA FOR PS4. GET LOST. RT @Danvertuan: no more bayonetta on ps4?

Maybe one day we'll live in a world where Bayonetta, Mario, and Zelda will hang out with Sony and Microsoft too, but I wouldn't hold my breath. For now, fans will just have to bite the bullet and get a Switch if they desire more Bayonetta action. Bayonetta 2 is set to for a Switch release on February 16th and Bayonetta 3 is due out later this year.
