Dragon Ball FighterZ Beta Launches This Weekend

It's time to skip all the eyebrow twitches and exposition and get right to the brawling.

Be sure you've got power level up to over 9,000 by this weekend, you're going to need all the energy you've got to play the Dragon Ball FighterZ open beta this weekend. Starting on Sunday, January 14th at 12:00 am PST and ending on Monday, January 15th at 11:59 pm Xbox One and PS4 owners will get a chance to throw down as their favorite characters from the long-running Anime and Manga series. Players who pre-ordered the game will get early access to the beta starting on Saturday, January 13th at 12:00 am PST.

According to the press release "Players participating in the open beta will be able to try out a limited number of online and offline modes including World Match and Battle Tutorial over the 48-hour open beta period."

There will be 11 playable characters overall to choose from in the beta. Take a look at the full list below to see if your favorite character made the roster:

• Goku (Super Saiyan)
• Vegeta (Super Saiyan)
• Gohan (Adult)
• Frieza
• Cell
• Kid Buu
• Krillin
• Piccolo
• Nappa
• Android 18
• Beerus

Dragon Ball FighterZ is set to launch January 26th on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
