Royale Company: PUBG Surpasses 20 Million Units Sold
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has sold over 20 million units and looks to continue its success, despite recent setbacks.
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has been in Steam Early Access since March and is set to receive a console release before the Christmas holiday. Two short months ago, PUBG surpassed 10 million units sold, which is part of why it's so remarkable that on Tuesday morning, Brendan "PlayerUnknown" Greene announced that this total has been doubled.
.@PUBATTLEGROUNDS reached an amazing milestone this weekend, passing 20 million copies sold!

I know a lot of you are frustrated by issues w/ the game but the team is working hard to deliver a truly great Battle Royale expierence for everyone. Bear with us, change is coming!
One thing to note here is that PlayerUnknown has acknowledged that his game has experienced some recent setbacks. Despite an estimate that PUBG 1.0 was in line to hit before the end of the year, internal issues may potentially be throwing a monkey wrench into Bluehole's schedule.
But warts and all, PUBG appears to have a rich player base and even richer sales numbers. Look for Bluehole's game to achieve even greater sales number when the Xbox One version hits in December.
