Rocket League Scores a Nintendo Switch Release Date

Psyonix is delivering that car soccer phenomenon to Nintendo’s handheld soon.

You have probably been living under a rock if you were unaware of Rocket League’s runaway success. Initially debuting on PS4 and Steam back in the summer of 2015 and later arriving on Xbox, the arcade-style car soccer game has been one of the best selling games of this generation. Players looking to stuff goals on the go can look forward to piloting their rocket cars on Nintendo’s handheld this fall.

Officially announced this morning, Psyonix will be releasing Rocket League on the Switch on November 14. The game will be available through the Nintendo eShop and will sell for $19.99. The Switch port of Rocket League will be feature-complete with the other version of the game while also offering some Switch-exclusive Battle Cars and cosmetics.

        Got it "free" on PS4 with PS+ the bought it for pc and I'll be getting it for switch, psyonix deserves it imo

        yes, switch players will see Xbox and PC players too

      Tried this on PC in one of the free weekends, it was fun and all but i sucked at all, I might consider getting it on the Switch

        Oh i just remembered that online gaming on the Switch will become a paid service sometime in 2018, guess i'm gonna skip it and reconsider it for PC later on

        once you learn aerial gameplay the game grows on you, it's really good
