Pixel Buds Are Google's Wireless Answer to Apple AirPods
Google announced their wireless solution to pair with headphone jack-less Pixel 2 phones.
Now that Google has removed the headphone jack from their flagship Pixel phones, it was inevitable that a wireless option would be introduced today. The newly announced Google Pixel Buds provide up to 5-hours of listening time on a charge and the case that it comes with holds multiple charges so you can get up to 24 hours of use.
For listening to music, the Pixel Buds have one-touch audio controls for play/pause and you can swipe to change songs.
The PixelBuds, paired with machine learning via Google Assistant, showed off an incredible interaction on stage between two people speaking two languages. Real-time Google Translate is only a touch of a button away with the Pixel Buds. You can ask the Buds to help you speak a specific language and, after speaking, the other user will hear the translated phrase or statement. With two Google Translate equipped users, this nearly eliminates language barriers.
The wireless headphones are priced at $159 and will come in blue, white, and black.

Hard plastic earbuds are total trash for my ears, wireless or not.
Am I a freak of nature here? I can't understand how people can wear the ear pods and air pods or any ear buds like those for more than 5 minutes without extreme irritation and discomfort. I need those rubber in ear ones with multiple size tips. And they stay in place better w/ motion.
These look extra bullshit with the cord running right through the middle of them, probably brushes up and tickles your ear when moving :(
