Could PUBG Land on the PS4 in the Future?
Murder Island cannot be contained by one console.
Not content with dominating the PC gaming market in 2017, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will expand its reach onto Xbox One by the end of this year. A new report claims PUBG developer Bluehole is in talks with Sony about bringing the runaway hit to the PS4. No momentum on the PS4 version is expected until the Xbox version is released.
The news on on possible PS4 port came from a recent Bloomberg profile on creator Brendan Greene. Demand for the game shows no signs of wavering and it recently became the most played game ever on Steam. The sales and attention have skyrocketed the value of Bluehole, with a recent report putting the company’s value at over 4 billion dollars. As my friend Tim always screams, that’s a lot of meatballs!
