Rocket League is always doing fun exclusives for battle-cars and goodies, and its launch on Nintendo Switch this holiday season is another opportunity for some cool freebies for players. So what better way to celebrate a partnership with Nintendo than to reveal three new Battle-cars coming with the game's release.

Developer Psyonix has unveiled a Mario NSR vehicle for the Orange Team and Luigi NSR car for the Blue Team. In addition, A Samus' Gunship battle-car will be available for the Orange Team, with a Samus Varia Suit variant coming to the Blue Team. All cars are free, but they must be unlocked my meeting various prerequisites, which will be announced some time before the game is released.

Rocket League on Switch will also have some exclusive customizations. Mario and Luigi Toppers can be used on non-licensed customizable Battle-Cars, while a Super Star Rocket Boost can be used with the Mario and Luigi cars. A Wave Beam Rocket Boost is exclusive to Samus’ Gunship version. 

Rocket League hit 30 million players back in April, and that number has surely grown since then. Given the popularity of Switch, the joining of the two should prove to be a boost to both Psyonix and Nintendo.
