Horizon: Zero Dawn DLC Expands into the Frozen Wilds This Winter
In a few short months, you can get chilly with the first major DLC expansion for Horizon: Zero Dawn.
If you’ve been getting tired of the expansive content already available in Horizon: Zero Dawn on PlayStation 4, know that you don’t have long to wait until you can wander further afield. Guerrilla Games has announced that The Frozen Wilds expansion will arrive on November 7, 2017, and you can place an order for it today if you’re so inclined.
Details are sparse, but The Frozen Wilds will apparently take players north to explore a new area and additional story content. That’s a striking difference from the “vibrant, lush world” the team was trying to produce with its original design, but it should retain the “striking vistas” the developers envisioned. There will be side quests, as well, and possibly other surprises that will come to light later a little later.
Horizon: Zero Dawn has already been updated since launching in March and delighting critics and consumers alike, but this marks the game’s first proper expansion. The Frozen Wilds will set you back $20 USD at launch, though it is currently available at a discount to PSN members (which works out to $15 if you act quickly). Are you looking forward to exploring more of Aloy’s world?

Horizon, if you haven't checked it out, is a pretty great game. I won't say the story is going to pull you in too far, but its good for an action game. The art and game play is top notch, one of the best looking and most satisfying games I've played with in awhile. I don't think anything in it is groundbreaking, but it is perfected.
