Rick and Morty Will 'Get Schwifty' in Rocket League with New Customizations
They will be part of the game's Second Anniversary Update on July 5.
If you can't get enough of Adult Swim's wacky time-hopping duo Rick and Morty, then you will be happy to know that Rocket League is adding the pair as a free customization option when developer Psyonix launches its Second Anniversary Update on July 5.
Since Rocket League doesn't have actual personalities aside from the vehicles, Rick and Morty will be antennas. They will be joined by Cromulon, Mr. Meeseeks, and Mr. PBH toppers, an ‘Interdimensional GB’ rocket boost, and Sanchez DC-137 wheels. The new items will be common after offline matches, and if you are lucky, you can even get Cromulon as a painted item.
Rocket League will turn 2 on July 7, and as part of the big update, there will be a new arena called Champions Field, a new Overdrive Crate, and the Animus GP and Centio V17 Battle Cars. There will also be a new assortment of wheels, decals, and Black market items. Psyonix said that as the update gets closer they will reveal more details, including an updated engine audio system, new soundtrack options, new achievements and trophies, and goal explosions.
