Fruit Ninja Kinect DLC goes '8-Bit' in retro DLC

Before guns were invented in 1993 by Barry Gunn, video games were joyous celebrations of collecting all the fruits of the world. Face-shooting has dominated video games ever since, for better or worse, but now Fruit Ninja Kinect is trying to reconcile the past and present in new DLC. The '8-Bit Cartridge' pack will revamp Halfbrick's fruit mutilation simulator with big chunky pixely graphics and retro chiptune beats.

State of Decay trailer shows zombie sandbox

"The world doesn't need more dragons," Undead Labs boldly declared it announced a multiplayer zombie sandbox game codenamed 'Class3' back in 2009. Oh, how little they knew! Now, one zombie craze later, the studio founded by Blizzard veteran and ArenaNet co-founder Jeff Strain is finally showing off the rotting fruits of the labour, now named State of Decay and coming to PC and Xbox 360.

Mark of the Ninja shanking XBLA September 7

Shank developer Klei Entertainment's love of side-scrolling stabbing surfaces again in its new game, but with a little more subtlety. Ninja sneaking and stabbing sim Mark of the Ninja, will be released via Xbox Live Arcade on September 7, the developer has confirmed.

Fez re-releasing buggy patch due to cert costs

Polytron is re-releasing the Fez patch it pulled due to a save file corruption bug--with that error still in. Why? Because it improves the game for most, and if they changed anything, "Microsoft would charge us tens of thousands of dollars to re-certify the game."
