Team17 announced Worms 3 today, a new game in the series heading to iOS devices in Q3. It will feature new weapons and modes, asynchronous or pass-and-play multiplayer, and a "Card Mode" feature.

Worms has officially launched on Facebook, offering the classic PC game with some modernized social and F2P hooks.

Team17 did say it was shaking things up in Worms Revolution, having made largely the same game for 17 years, and it seems that may be the case. Worms Rev will introduce four worm classes with different abilties to the turn-based strategy series.

Veteran English indie Team17 Software has latched onto Good Old Games, infesting the digital distributor with its Worms United and Alien Breed--the first spawn of a relationship that'll see Superfrog, World Rally Fever and more come to GOG.

The wacky golfing take on Worms will wriggle onto PC (through Steam) and iThings on October 19, with the PSN edition to follow on October 25. Plus, come watch some pirate fun.

The PC edition of Worms Ultimate Mayhem, which combines Worms 3D and Worms 4 with new content and improvements, has been delayed by a week, until September 28.

The Worms series is bringing its brand of comic mayhem to the thrilling world of golf with Worms Crazy Golf for PC, PlayStation 3 and iOS.

The Worms' series two 3D entries, Worms 3D and Worms 4, are being revamped for a downloadable double-pack re-release via Steam, Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network.
