You've watched the cinematic trailer and read our preview (I trust you), which means marketing now deems you sufficiently informed to watch actual Batman: Arkham Origins gameplay. Warner Bros dropped the debut trailer during Sony's pre-E3 press conference last night, showing some merry old BIFF!ing and POW!ing as various villains attempt to cash a bounty on the Bat's head.

Beatshapers is working on an undead endless runner with ZRun, and Dead Island creator Techland is going all parkour-y with Dying Light. The first trailer dropped today ahead of E3, showing that yes, both zombies and running around are themes.
Zombies are still in vogue, but it's surprising to see Dead Island developer Techland move onto an entirely different first-person zombie game. While Dead Island could be described as an undead take on The Elder Scrolls, their new game, Dying Light, could be quickly summed as Mirror's Edge with walkers.
Kevin Conroy briefly issued a tweet to clarify yesterday's report that he would be playing a voice in the next Arkham, but quickly deleted it. It seems to imply another Arkham game in the works besides Origins.
Iconic Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy says he's just finished a long stint of work on the next Arkham game, but didn't directly say he'll be playing the Dark Knight.
According to developer WB Montreal, Origins will show off a "rawer, scarier Batman." So, of course they got the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog to play Batman this time around. (We're not kidding.)
While Origins doesn't reinvent the Batman wheel to the same degree that the first two Arkham games have, it's clear that WB Montreal has the chops to make a game worthy of the name.
