The first story trailer for Dying Light's The Following DLC is out today and it's pointing to a potential cure for the zombie plague.

Mortal Kombat X brought an exciting announcement to yesterday's Game Awards with the reveal of the Kombat Pack 2's new characters. Prior to that reveal, creator Ed Boon walked the red carpet and spoke briefly to Shacknews about working with Warner Bros., the possibility of Injustice: Gods Among Us returning the crossover favor, and the potential that future DLC will include new story content.

With a number of PC users still experiencing issues with Batman: Arkham Knight on PC, Warner Bros. is throwing up its hands and is ready to offer refunds.

Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox are going back to the future. Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman are flying across time and space. Ellen McLain and Stephen Merchant are testing for science. And Gary Oldman is trying to take over reality. That's just scratching the surface of LEGO Dimensions' voice acting cast and a new video reveals just who's joining the party.

There are still more kombatants ready to enter the arena, with Mortal Kombat X now set to get some new kontent early next year.

NetherRealm has completed its look into tomorrow's Mortal Kombat X patch, which is set to include some new buffs to a number of the game's kombatants. (Update: The patch notes are up!)

Warner Bros. finally delivered the death blow to the previous-generation versions of Mortal Kombat X, announcing that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 iterations of NetherRealm's fighter will not live to fight another day.
