The Orange Box first released 10 years ago this week. Shacknews is celebrating with a look back at the earliest days of a video game juggernaut.
A post on the internal Steamworks group shows the company is looking closely at keys requested in comparison to Steam sales of the game.
Surely some people in the crowd were chanting 'Boo-urns!'
There are still 32 days left to go in the crowdfunding and the prize monty has almost hit $21 million.
The main goal in all the planned changes is to point gamers to the titles they are most interested in.
The patch also affects other games using the Half-Life engine, including Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat, Condition Zero, Half-Life: Blue Shift, Half-Life: Opposing Force and Team Fortress Classic.
It's a burning question given how much money you can save before it all vanishes into thin air.
That number has dropped to around 205,000, but those are still a lot of return requests.
It will run through July 5, with some massive sales to kick things off.
