After a successful inaugural year, TwitchCon is set to return this year and it will move to San Diego just two months after San Diego Comic-Con.
Rhythm games veterans have lamented Rock Band's lack of hyperspeed options, but Harmonix will officially add the feature with Rock Band 4's first major update, set to deploy in December.
TwitchCon kicked off with a number of major announcements regarding the Twitch service, centering around new features set to hit in the coming months.
The usual eSports and competitive gaming suspects will be on hand at TwitchCon, but Twitch, Blizzard, and Red Bull will be getting in on the action, too, taking each other on in some heated competitions.
Twitch has issued an early list of exhibitors that will attend the inaugural TwitchCon in San Francisco. A number of publishers and developers will be in the house with some playable games that are sure to raise a few eyebrows.
TwitchCon is starting to come together, with Twitch revealing the convention's schedule, as well as naming over 50 broadcasters that will be in attendance.
Tickets for TwitchCon will go on sale later this week, with tickets selling as low as $45.
Twitch is now getting into the convention scene later this year.
