TowerFall Ascension was already a standout multiplayer effort on its own, but the game's first expansion further rounds it out with some new features and a strong (albeit quick) campaign.
TowerFall Ascension creator Matt Thorson worked for nearly a year to put together the Dark World expansion. Now that it's ready, Shacknews reached out to him to talk about the expansion's new features, new co-op campaign, and whether he's ready to move on from TowerFall.
TowerFall Ascension's first and only expansion is finally ready to go. It will arrive on both PC and PlayStation 4 this Tuesday.
Creator Matt Thorson has pulled the curtain back on the next four archers to join the Towerfall Dark World DLC, including one archer based on Castlevania's Alucard and another one based on "Tropes vs. Women in Games" creator Anita Sarkeesian.
TowerFall: Ascension has one more trick in its quiver and that's a massive expansion set to launch on PC and PS4 in early 2015.
