The Homeworld IP has changed hands, no longer resting in the pile of leftovers from the THQ bankruptcy. Unfortunately, we don't know yet who the winning bidder was, just that it wasn't app developer teamPixel.
Relic was purchased by Sega during THQ's auctions, but Homeworld seems to have been left out of the arrangement. App developer teamPixel has started a crowd-funding campaign to purchase the rights to Homeworld and continue development.
