PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is a curious bird, Sony's own stab at the formula of Nintendo's cross-over punch frenzy Super Smash Bros. series. PlayStationeers will get to try it for themselves from tomorrow, when the multiplayer open beta launches for everyone on Vita and PS Plus members on PS3. It'll open up to everyone else on PS3 next week, on October 23.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale has been delayed to November 20, to allow more time for polish and incorporating feedback from the beta test.

While PlayStation All-Stars may be inspired by Nintendo's brawler, and may look very much like its progenitor, it plays very differently from the original mascot fighter.
SuperBot Entertainment executive producer Chan Park told Shacknews: "This game wouldn't be complete without their involvement. [Fans] can expect third party characters" in PlayStation All-Stars.
Sony has officially announced PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. As expected, PASBR is a SuperBot-developed Smash Bros-inspired fighter that combines various PlayStation franchises.
