StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void to have 'Seven Samurai' elements

With StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm already bringing out the aggressive nature of the Zerg, Blizzard has started to turn its attention to the final chapter in the trilogy, Legacy of the Void. The theme of that last installment--focused on the Protoss--can probably be best summed up in one word: desperation.

StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm is a more than competent followup to Wings of Liberty. The game stays true to the RTS basics Blizzard has established and has become so popular in the series, with new units and a varied evolution system that allows for multiple replays. If you like single-player StarCraft 2, you should enjoy the expansion. Just don't expect much from the story.

Blizzard has added a lot of snazzy features to StarCraft 2 in preparation for the expansion Heart of the Swarm, and yesterday dropped a new trailer demonstrating the shiny additions for multiplayer and eSports. Goodbye, epic matches being scrapped after one player crashes, and hello, players being able to step into the child-sized shoes of their heroes by recreating games from replays.
