Since StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm launched last week, Blizzard has been closely monitoring the multiplayer experience and the the pro-player matches. While some competitors have changed up their style of play, "nobody is close to figuring the game out yet."
Is Heart of the Swarm the Brood War of StarCraft 2? It's going to take years before we have any idea if it will live up to that daunting legacy, but it's off to a good start. At the very least this provides a great boost to the community as we begin the long wait for the next expansion.
StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm is a more than competent followup to Wings of Liberty. The game stays true to the RTS basics Blizzard has established and has become so popular in the series, with new units and a varied evolution system that allows for multiple replays. If you like single-player StarCraft 2, you should enjoy the expansion. Just don't expect much from the story.
