After cutting my teeth on Hearthstone, Magic 2015 drew me in. But can it keep me while Naxxramas calls?
Magic 2015 can make a planeswalker out of anyone
Ladies and gentlemen, buckle up and hold onto your butts, as smash-happy racer Carmageddon: Reincarnation is coming to Steam Early Access on Thursday THURSDAY THURS-DAY March 27. It's been 14 years since we last sheared cars in half and murdered pedestrians with an Electro-bastard Ray, but creator Stainless Games is finally bringing it back.
The Duels of the Planeswalkers games do scratch that Magic: The Gathering itch just enough to keep me off the cardboard but, well, that makes its DLC as alluring as booster packs. Wizards of the Coast has announced a Magic 2014 expansion is coming on September 18 with new decks, campaign missions, and puzzles. Recovering addicts, it's okay if you buy it: this is better than hoarding 'board.
Carmageddon is coming to Android on May 10, and will be free for the first 24 hours.
Carmageddon: Reincarnation is coming to next-gen platforms, PlayStation 4 and the next Xbox, thanks to a recent $3.5 million in private funding.
If you commute on public transport but fancy recreating the pure murderous rage inspired by driving to work, you're in luck, as Stainless Games today launched the iOS edition of its vintage bloody racer Carmageddon. As Stainless promised during its Kickstarter campaign for Carmageddon: Reincarnation, the pocket edition is free for the first 24 hours.
As promised, Carmaggedon today screeched onto the GOG store, leaving bloody treadmarks and a light shower of viscera. With Carmageddon Reincarnation coming thanks to a successful Kickstarter, now's a fine time to revisit Stainless Games' open world-ish splatty race 'em up, or see what all the fuss is about for the first time.
Love it, loathe it, kind of like it, think it's a bit naff, or have no real opinion, you must admire that Magic: The Gathering has been around for 19 years now but still manages to stay fresh with new expansions and an ever-changing metagame. With the cardboard incarnation's 'Return to Ravinca' expansion block drawing near, the digital version Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 has received a small expansion of its own, with new DLC teasing the new set.
