Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell video game franchise is gathering interest from movie studios, with Paramount Pictures being the front-runner.

That sneaky Sam Fisher is to return in Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Ubisoft just revealed during Microsoft's E3 press event. He's off to distant and dusty lands to take down the titular terrorist group, armed with some snazzy Kinect tricks.

It only took nearly two months, but the Splinter Cell Trilogy HD has finally been patched to restore inverted aim, an option missing in the original release.

Ubisoft forgot to include an option to invert aim in the PS3 re-release of the Splinter Cell trilogy.
